The St. David's Welsh Society of Georgia Welcome!!!      The St. David's Society was founded in January 1984 by David Greenslade, Sally Evans Funderburk and Jan Sherry. The Society aims to bring together people of Welsh heritage in Georgia and to foster an interest in Welsh  culture, language and history.        Our regular meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month from September to June. Anyone with an interest in Wales is most welcome to join us.

Pwrpas y Gymdeithas yw dod a phobol sydd o dras Gymraeg gyda'u gilydd yn Georgia, ac i feithrin diddordeb mewn diwylliant a hanes Cymru.         Cynhelir ein cyfarfodydd cyson ar yr ail ddydd Sul o bob mis, o Fis Medi tan Mehefin.  Mae croeso i unrhyw un sydd a diddordeb

In anticipation of many people considering Holiday Shopping with e-merchants in Wales we are re-running our popular article on Internet shopping BUYING "WELSH" ON-LINE e-Commerce and our contribution to the Welsh Economy

In Celebration of All Things Welsh,    We have changed the backgrounds of some of our website pages to Welsh Tartans, most are family tartans of our members.  The tartan used for a background here is the Dewi Sant or St. David tartan, which is the National Tartan of Wales.
